That's A Wrap! PC3 Concludes Coverage of the 2026 Porter County Fair

After 10 days of storytelling, interviews, and behind-the-scenes coverage, PC3 Media has officially wrapped up its coverage of the 2026 Porter County Fair.

This year's coverage was made possible through the generous support of Surf Internet, whose sponsorship helped bring the fair to audiences throughout the community. PC3 Media also partnered with Indiana 105, whose collaboration throughout the fair played an important role in expanding the reach of the student-produced coverage.

Throughout the fair, PC3 Media students highlighted the people and events that make the Porter County Fair one of Northwest Indiana's most anticipated annual traditions. From showcasing exhibitors and entertainment to interviewing vendors, fair officials, and community members, students gained valuable real-world experience while producing content for audiences across multiple platforms.

The coverage was led by an outstanding team of student journalists and broadcasters, including second-year students Gianna Zikkos, Angela Shear, Andrew Coyne, Andrew Meyer, and Alyssa Batesole, first-year students Araya Hlinsky and Grant Salinger, and PC3 Media alumnus Jillian Young. Their dedication, professionalism, and willingness to spend part of their summer covering the fair made this year's project a tremendous success.

PC3 Media also extends its appreciation to the Porter County Fair Court, the many vendors, artists, exhibitors, fair staff, volunteers, and everyone who took the time to share their stories and assist with interviews and content creation throughout the event.

Finally, thank you to everyone who watched, read, shared, and supported PC3 Media's coverage during this year's fair. The continued encouragement from the community helps provide students with meaningful opportunities to develop their skills through authentic, professional experiences.

As another successful year comes to a close, PC3 Media is already looking forward to returning in 2027 to once again cover the "10 Best Days of Summer."
