Vikings Fall To Bulldogs on Homecoming Night

The Valparaiso Vikings’ Homecoming celebration ended in disappointment on Friday night, September 25th as the Crown Point Bulldogs defeated Valparaiso 28-14 at Viking Stadium as PC3 students brought you all the action.

Crown Point jumped out to a 14-0 halftime lead and held off a second-half push from the Vikings. Valpo quarterback Cooper Gear accounted for both Viking touchdowns, including a 19-yard touchdown pass to Sam Venard. The loss drops Valparaiso to 4-2 on the season.

Despite the result on the field, it was another great night for the PC3 Media crew, which worked hard to bring viewers coverage of the game and all of the evening’s Homecoming festivities.

The crew overcame some early audio issues and the added challenge of covering the Homecoming halftime presentation while continuing to provide a great broadcast, seen by over 2,000 viewers.
