PC3 Media students recently had the incredible opportunity to attend a Chicago Bulls vs. Houston Rockets game at the United Center—an experience that went far beyond just watching basketball.
Before the game tipped off, students met broadcasting legend Chuck Swirsky, the longtime radio voice of the Chicago Bulls. Swirsky shared valuable insights into his career in sports media, walked students through his preparation process for live broadcasts, and offered practical advice on how to succeed in the competitive media industry.
The experience continued with exclusive access to the pregame shootaround, where students enjoyed a front-row view of the players getting ready for the night ahead. They also had the unforgettable opportunity to step onto the court themselves, capturing a group photo at center court inside the iconic arena.
The night was capped off by an exciting game between the Bulls and the Houston Rockets, featuring superstar Kevin Durant. In front of a lively crowd, the Bulls came out on top, giving students even more to celebrate.
From meeting a broadcasting icon to experiencing the action up close, the trip was truly unforgettable—an inspiring moment for these future media professionals.
