The Valparaiso Vikings closed out their regular season with a hard-fought 21-14 loss to the Lake Central Indians on Friday night, October 17th. Despite a gritty effort on both sides of the ball, Valpo couldn't contain Lake Central’s strong rushing attack and a game-changing 4th-quarter strike. The Indians took their first lead of the night in dramatic fashion when quarterback Cameron Reddick connected with Frank Verda on a 75-yard touchdown pass early in the fourth quarter. The explosive play swung the momentum in Lake Central’s favor, and they never looked back. Valparaiso, now 2-7 on the season, battled throughout but came up short against the now 3-6 Lake Central squad. The Vikings will look to regroup as they prepare for postseason play. Friday’s matchup marked the final PC3 regular season broadcast of 2025. Despite the homecoming excitement that filled Viking Stadium, the Merrillville Pirates came out firing   and handed Valparaiso a 48–21 defeat under the lights. From the opening whistle, the Pirates. lead by junior QB Michael Hill Jr. dictated tempo and executed well on both sides of the ball. Valpo’s offense showed flashes—moving the chains, hitting a few big plays—but couldn’t sustain momentum. Be sure to catch all the action from our great PC3 crew at the link below. On Friday, September 12th, PC3 presented their second broadcast of the season as the Valparaiso Vikings faced off against the Michigan City Wolves on "Patriot Night" in a thrilling matchup. The game ended with a narrow score of 27-21, as the Wolves emerged victorious. On Saturday, September 6th, Valparaiso buzzed with excitement as the annual Popcorn Parade took center stage. This vibrant local event, known for its colorful floats, lively performances, and the mouthwatering scent of popcorn filling the air, attracted crowds from all over. This year, the celebration was made even more special by the live coverage from the eager students of PC3, who rose early to ensure that those unable to attend could still enjoy the festivities in real-time. In a fiery season opening matchup, the Valparaiso Vikings fell at home to the Penn Kingsmen by a final score of 21-13 on Friday, August 22nd. The PC3 Crew was on hand for their first sports broadcast of the 2025-26 school year so be sure to catch the replay below!
