Valparaiso Mayor Jon Costas helped kick off the new school year with a special visit to the Surf Interview Studios, where he sat down for an exclusive interview with PC3 and WNRG Radio’s Gianna Zikkos.
During the interview, Mayor Costas discussed the recent storm damage throughout Valparaiso and provided an update on the community’s ongoing cleanup efforts. He spoke about the work being done to address affected areas and the continued efforts of crews and community members as Valparaiso recovers from the storm.
The mayor’s visit also provided a memorable welcome for students beginning the new academic year. Costas took time to meet and speak with several first-year students, offering words of encouragement and wishing them the best of luck as they begin this new chapter.
