PCCC Principal Kyle Becich Departs for New Role at Union Township
Porter County Career Center Principal Kyle Becich completed his final day at the career center on Friday, September 18, bringing an end to his two-year tenure leading the school.
Becich, who previously served as an assistant principal at Lowell High School and as a teacher and coach at Wheeler High School, among other educational roles, is leaving the Career Center and the education profession to become business manager for the Union Township School Corporation.
During his time at PCCC, Becich was a strong supporter of PC3 Media and the career center's many programs, consistently demonstrating his commitment to students, staff, and the opportunities provided through career and technical education. His willingness to support student projects, extracurricular activities, and school initiatives made him a valued member of the PCCC community.
Staff members praised Becich for his positivity, patience, kindness, and willingness to make time for everyone. One secretary reflected on his leadership, describing him as someone who consistently went the extra mile and worked to make the school a better place.
Becich's departure will be felt throughout the Career Center, as students and staff alike will truly miss his leadership, support, and presence in the school community. As he begins this new chapter with Union Township School Corporation, PCCC wishes him continued happiness and success.
